Andy is a senior organisation leader and board member with 30+ years experience across the private, public and charitable sectors, in children's and education services. He has helped a wide variety of organisations develop strategy, to ensure sustainability and deliver outstanding performance. He has a significant record of leading large change management programmes and, creating strong relationships with partner organisations and stakeholders.
Andy is the owner and CEO of SW Education & Care Ltd. He is passionate about helping children and young people, who have suffered complex childhood traumas, to find a safe, caring space in which they can thrive. Andy views access to education as being central to positive development and believes strongly in the power of the outdoors in helping to engage with learning.
Andy is a past UK Chair of the Institute for Outdoor Learning. He holds an MBA for business and an MA (Education).
