Kiks is highly qualified in safeguarding, education and SEMHD, with a track record of more than eighteen years of strategic planning and ten years in secondary education provision. She has extensive experience in the specialist care and education sector, in regard to safeguarding, education, therapeutic intervention, and quality of provision. Kiks holds Level 7 qualifications in Leadership & Management and Coaching & Mentoring and, is currently undertaking a further advanced counselling qualification.
Kiks is a member of both The American Psychological Association (APA), The British Psychological Society (BPS) and The Association of Child and Adolescent Mental Health (ACAMHS). With previous roles as SENDCo and Head Teacher (SEMHD), National Senior DSL, Director of Education and Operations Director, she has experience in both children’s and adult social care. Kiks assures quality of provision through our quality assurance processes and, supports managers to ensure the needs of children and young people are met. She provides education guidance and oversees provision within SWEC homes.
Kiks' passion is supporting young people with complex trauma histories, to help reach their individual potential. She ensures SWEC provide wrap around care, forged through extensive professional relationships with our health care and education partners.
