Tina has over fifteen years experience supporting vulnerable people in a variety of settings, from riding instructor, residential support worker in both children’s and elderly residential care, deputy manager for children’s residential, prison substance misuse and recovery worker.  Tina has also been an NHS probation officer and acting manager in children’s homes and family assessment centres. Tina holds a degree in social care, a Level 5 NVQ in leadership and management, and a Level 7 qualification in Coaching & Mentoring. She is IOSH health & safety qualified, a medication trainer and, currently undertaking a course to be a Young Person Violence Advisor (YPVA) with SafeLives.

As RI and Head of Quality for SWEC, Tina has a high attention to detail and an excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations, government legislation and care quality standards.  She is solution focused for all colleagues and young people in our care, with trauma and psychologically informed practice, her aim always to support them to achieve their potential.
